Seller Agreement
Last updated: August 3, 2026.
Effective: August 3, 2026.
This Seller Agreement applies when you use Mint Shelf to sell. It supplements the Mint Shelf Terms of Service. By accepting this Seller Agreement for a seller business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that business. If this Seller Agreement conflicts with the Terms of Service about selling, this Seller Agreement controls.
1. Marketplace role
Mint Shelf provides a marketplace and related tools that connect sellers with buyers. You remain responsible for your listings, inventory, fulfillment, customer support, taxes, and compliance with applicable law. Mint Shelf may use third-party providers, including Stripe, to process payments and send payouts.
2. Platform fee
The default platform fee is 8% of the item price when an order is paid. The platform fee does not apply to shipping, sales tax, or buyer-paid fees. Mint Shelf deducts the platform fee from seller proceeds before payout.
You are always welcome to call or text Taro Woollett-Chiba, a Mint Shelf co-founder, at +1 (862) 213-4998 to discuss a different rate or fee arrangement. A different rate or fee arrangement applies only when Mint Shelf confirms it in writing or displays it in your business settings. If Mint Shelf confirms a different arrangement, that arrangement controls over the default fee in this Seller Agreement for as long as the confirmation states.
3. Adjustments
Refunds, returns, cancellations, payment disputes, shipping labels, taxes on fees, and other authorized seller costs may change the amount paid out to you. Mint Shelf may deduct or reverse those amounts from current or future seller proceeds as described in the Terms of Service and the information shown for the affected transaction.
4. Payouts
Payouts are processed through Stripe according to the connected account’s payout schedule and eligibility. You authorize Mint Shelf and its payment providers to collect amounts paid by buyers, deduct the platform fee and other authorized amounts, and send the remaining proceeds to your connected payout account.
5. Changes and ending this agreement
Mint Shelf will provide advance notice of a material change to the platform fee or this Seller Agreement. A change applies prospectively from its stated effective date. You may stop selling and close your seller business subject to outstanding orders, returns, disputes, fees, and other obligations.
