Terms of Service
Last updated: May 22, 2026.
These Terms of Service govern your use of Mint Shelf, a marketplace that connects reseller businesses with buyers. By creating an account, placing a bid, making an offer, buying, or selling, you agree to these terms.
1. Accounts
You may create or access an account with supported sign-in methods, including email, social login, and phone verification. If phone verification or phone login is used, Mint Shelf may send a one-time SMS/text message with a verification code. You are responsible for any activity that takes place under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
2. Text messaging
Marketplace text notifications are optional. If you opt in, Mint Shelf may send SMS/text messages about outbid alerts, offer responses, order confirmations, payment confirmations, shipping and delivery updates, and customer care. Consent to marketplace text notifications is not required to buy or sell on Mint Shelf. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3. Buying
When you place a bid, accept an offer, or select Buy Now, you are making a binding commitment to purchase. A payment method on file is required. Your payment is authorized at commitment time and captured when your bundled order is finalized, typically within one hour. Cancellation after commitment is not automated; contact support for assistance.
4. Selling
Sellers must complete Stripe Connect verification before publishing listings, events, or collections. Sellers are responsible for accurate descriptions, reasonable shipping timelines, and honoring accepted commitments. Fraudulent listings, counterfeit goods, and misrepresentations are grounds for removal and account termination.
5. Fees and payouts
Mint Shelf charges a platform fee on each transaction. The fee is disclosed at the time of sale. Payouts are processed by Stripe Connect directly to your bank account according to your Stripe payout schedule. Mint Shelf does not hold seller funds.
6. Prohibited items and conduct
You may not use Mint Shelf to list illegal items, weapons, hazardous materials, human remains, live animals, recalled goods, or items that infringe intellectual property. Harassment, hate speech, and abusive conduct toward other users or Mint Shelf staff will result in account termination.
7. Disputes and refunds
Disputes are currently handled manually by Mint Shelf support. If you have a problem with an order, contact us and we will work with you and the other party to resolve it. Stripe chargeback procedures remain available to buyers; filing a chargeback without first contacting Mint Shelf may delay resolution.
8. Privacy
Your use of Mint Shelf is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and in-app notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms should be directed to legal@mintshelf.com.
